On Wednesday, Britney Spears sent her first Tweets — and a photo! — from the set of Glee, where she’s begun filming her scenes for the upcoming “all-Britney” episode.
“About to do my first shot of the day for Glee tweeties! Here we goooo!” the pop star, 28, wrote. A few hours later, she added, “what’s up GLEEKS? Having so much fun on set!! Can’t wait for you guys to see the episode!”
In an accompanying TwitPic, Spears seems to be in costume: wearing clear plastic-framed glasses and a gray top that, perhaps, a teacher might wear. (She stands next to her assistant, Brett Miller.)
Glee creator Ryan Murphy was vague on details about Spears’ special episode during a radio appearance last week. He teased that Spears may show up when members of the show’s glee club hallucinate while under anesthesia at the dentist. “They have fantasies of how they can be like her,” he explained.
Murphy added that the episode is “so reverential about her…It’s about her music and it’s not about her personal life.”
Spears also used Twitter last week to announce her return to the recording studio, where she’s begun work on the followup to her 2008 smash comeback Circus.

This basically means you might not made more than the person below you, but you might have been a lot more popular, therefore more powerful. Get it?!
Britney has had quit a big comeback… and some might say it’s all because of her boyfriend/age , Jason Trawick who has been aiding Spears since her Circus album. But now, Spears and Tarwick are deciding to stop mixing business with pleasure.
“[Britney and Jason] have decided to end their professional relationship and focus on their personal relationship,” a rep for the Brit said in a statement to Access Hollywood, which was first reported by People.
Although, Brit is finished with her tour… she’s STILL working hard on her next album!
“Since wrapping her recent world tour, Spears has been busy in the studio working on her next album,” the rep continued
Spears and Trawick, whom have been an item since last Summer, are apparently still in relationship bliss! “They are very happy,” a source told People. “Things are really good with them.”
Have you ever looked at someones Twitter profile, and saw their followers and compared it to your own and found out you came up short? Or have you ever been over-joyed because you had more followers than someone you knew?
Have you ever looked at someones profile and said “How the hell did THEY get all those followers? They’re are ‘nobody’” and found yourself upset or mad. To some people, this sounds ridiculous… but to most, and even once, myself… this is a real reality!
Twitter is a social-networking tool that allows you to communicate, network, and share different links in less than “140” words, but to some people… It’s a competition!
Are you one of those people? Do you find yourself jealous of someones follower count and unappreciative of your humble follower amount, well here are a few thoughts, tips, and ideas to help you cope:
1.) Appreciate the followers you have. Whether you have 10, 100, 1,000, or more there’s always someone with LESS and MORE followers than you.
2.) Because you have hundreds of thousands of followers, that does NOT make you more important, famous, or better than anyone else. It just means you’ve got a lot of time on your hands or people find your tweets very interesting. People with large amount of followers shouldn’t let it go to their heads, and neither should people with small amounts! Let go and get to know and love the follower you already have
3.) Followers come and go, but friends are forever. The majority of the followers that follow you and don’t know you personally will probably unfollow you, anyway, so just appreciate that your true friends follow you and hang on to every word you say.
4.) People do CRAZY things for followers. Some people place fake, dirty, or offensive pictures as their avatars, and this is just sad, right? Some tweet outlandish things or even start fights with other random followers to get attention. Like the old phrase goes “all attention isn’t good attention” and you shouldn’t think about stooping to those levels.
5.) Twitter, like Xanga and Myspace, is the reigning social networking site, but like the others… it will eat the dust in due time, so all of the followers you have won’t matter, because there’ll be another social networking site in the next years and those followers will not matter.
6.) GET OVER IT! Think about the people YOU follow and think about how many times you think about them in a day… hopefully not at all, because that would be really obsessive and that’s on higher level than Twitter envy… that’s just down-right CRAZY!
